Below is an overview of how FANGSI WPC ships WPC orders from our facility in Linyi, China to your warehouse or project site. Specific freight rates and schedules depend on the destination port and container type, so final figures are confirmed with your booking confirmation.
1. Lead times
Lead times depend on order size, profile complexity and whether stock profiles are used.
- Stock profiles / catalogue colours: 7–14 working days for one 20’GP after deposit.
- Custom colour on a stock profile: 10–20 working days.
- New mould / new profile: mould development 7–14 days, then 14–25 working days production. Final samples confirmed before bulk.
- Sample orders: 3–5 working days via DHL / FedEx express.
Note. Production schedules are quoted in working days from receipt of deposit and confirmed colour / profile approval. Public holidays in China (Lunar New Year, National Day) add 3–10 days to the above.
2. Packing & container loading
Standard export packing is included in the unit price for full-container orders:
- Shrink wrap + protective PE film on each board.
- Cartons for trim, accessories and small profiles.
- Fumigation-free wooden pallets, strapped with PET banding.
- Corner protectors and waterproof outer wrapping.
- Shipping marks on two sides of each bundle; container number + seal recorded in the loading report.
An estimated loading quantity per 20’GP is shared with the quotation. Final loaded quantity depends on the actual profile dimensions and is confirmed after the load plan review.
3. Shipping terms (Incoterms)
We normally quote on the following Incoterms — others are possible by arrangement:
- EXW — Ex Works, our Linyi factory.
- FOB — Free On Board, Qingdao / Shanghai / Lianyungang port.
- CIF / CFR — Cost, Insurance & Freight to your destination port.
- DDP / DAP — Delivered to your warehouse or project site (selected destinations, by quotation).
Tip. For first-time buyers we recommend FOB — you keep control of the freight quote and can compare rates from your own forwarder.
4. Port of loading & typical routes
Our standard ports of loading are Qingdao, Shanghai and Lianyungang. From there, common transit times are:
- East & Southeast Asia: 3–8 days by sea.
- Middle East: 18–25 days.
- Africa (West & East): 28–40 days.
- Europe (North & West): 28–38 days.
- North America (West Coast): 18–26 days.
- South America: 35–50 days.
- Australia / New Zealand: 22–30 days.
Express / air freight (DHL, FedEx, UPS) is available for samples and small orders at additional cost.
5. Freight, duties & surcharges
Freight is quoted based on the prevailing market rate at the time of booking. The freight component (for CIF / DDP) may change between quotation and ship date if bunker, currency or pandemic-related surcharges change materially. We will flag any change before fixing the booking.
Import duties, VAT and any port or inspection fees at the destination are the buyer’s responsibility unless DDP has been agreed in writing.
6. Tracking & documents
Once the container is loaded, you will receive:
- Loading photos and the packing list.
- Bill of Lading (B/L) draft for review, then original / telex release.
- Commercial Invoice and Packing List.
- Certificate of Origin (Form E, Form F, Form A / China-Australia, etc. as applicable).
- Insurance policy (for CIF terms), issued by a Chinese PICC policy.
7. Customs & import
FANGSI WPC issues standard export documentation. Import clearance at destination is handled by the buyer or the buyer’s nominated agent. If your market requires special documentation (phytosanitary, CE marking, BIS registration, etc.) please notify our export team at quotation stage so we can plan accordingly.
